Stefania Rizzo is a contemporary Italian painter always looking for new and alternative directions. The experience with ancient painting techniques creates a condition for the artist to expand her idea of intervention in ‘space-landscape’. The artist crosses and is crossed by that multitude of expressionist and abstract/informal experiences, developing thus feelings and emotions like a chromatic turmoil that is involved in an energetic progression typical of and belonging to the freedom of ‘gestural’ actions. Her works are present in various private collections in Italy, France, Germany, England and Japan.
