Michael O'Guinn is a contemporary abstract expressionist painter whose dynamic works capture the energy of the urban landscape while channeling the raw emotional power of mid-century masters. Informed by the spontaneous gestures of Abstract Expressionism, his paintings are born from instinctive decisions made in the moment, often inspired by music and deeply personal memories. Michael holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara and has exhibited extensively in galleries across California and British Columbia.
